Planned operational changes relating to the relocation of ARMG cranes
2026-06-08

Dear Sir or Madam,

We would like to inform you that at the beginning of mid-June 2026, Baltic Hub will commence the implementation of an ARMG yard crane relocation project at the T3 terminal.

The project is aimed at further infrastructure development and increasing the terminal’s operational flexibility.

Project schedule

The project will be carried out in phases from June to September 2026.
During this period, preparatory works, ARMG crane relocation operations, as well as their commissioning and integration with terminal systems, will be performed.

Operational arrangements during the works

During project execution, temporary changes in terminal operations may occur, including:

  • temporary shutdowns of selected yard blocks,

  • partial closures of internal roads between blocks to facilitate crane relocation movements,

  • adjustments to traffic organization,

  • changes in the availability of operational yard space,

  • short-term decrease in yard productivity, particularly during the most intensive phase (turn of June and July).

These changes are temporary and constitute a necessary part of the project's execution.

Baltic Hub measures to ensure operational continuity

We are making every effort to minimize the impact of these works on your operations. To this end:

  • crane relocation will be executed in phases, ensuring availability of the remaining terminal areas,

  • operations will be precisely planned and coordinated in real time,

  • a temporary, optimized traffic management scheme and work area segregation (temporary fencing) will be implemented,

  • resources will be managed flexibly and adapted to the current operational situation,

  • ongoing communication and updates will be provided to customers.

The ARMG crane relocation is a key project that will directly enhance Baltic Hub flexibility and operational capabilities of the terminal.

We sincerely appreciate your cooperation and understanding during the execution of this project.

Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Kind regards,
Baltic Hub Container Terminal
