This field represents the container number consisting of 4 letters and 7 digits.

This field indicates the container category:

  • Import

  • Export

  • Domestic

This field specifies the ISO container type, which defines the container’s dimensions, purpose, and construction (e.g., 45G1, 22P3, 22G1).

This field indicates the type of freight:

  • FCL – Full Container Load

  • Empty – Empty container

  • BBK – Break Bulk cargo (non-containerized load)

This field shows the carrier delivering the container to the terminal:

  • Sea – Vessel voyage number

  • Rail – Train slot number

  • Road – The field contains the entry ‘Truck’

This field shows the carrier collecting the container from the terminal:

  • Sea – Vessel voyage number

  • Rail – Train slot number

  • Road – The field contains the entry ‘Truck’

This field shows the date and time when the container was delivered to the terminal.

This field shows the date and time when the container departed from the terminal.

This field displays the holds currently applied to the container. A detailed description of all possible holds is available via the Navis link.

This field contains the DSK number, which refers to the Temporary Storage Declaration (DSK).

The DSK is a document used in import procedures, allowing temporary storage of non-EU goods under customs supervision within the EU territory before customs clearance.

Once the DSK number appears in the container record, customs clearance may begin - even before the container is physically discharged from the vessel.

This field displays the MRN (Movement Reference Number) - a unique 18-character reference number assigned by the customs authority to each shipment moved within or across the EU under import or export procedures.

MRN numbers in Navis N4 are automatically updated through the Polish PCS system.

This field indicates the cargo weight used by Customs during the import clearance process.

This field represents the cargo weight calculated by subtracting the container tare from the VGM weight.

This field shows the container’s VGM (Verified Gross Mass) weight.

This field defines the cargo type. In all cases, it is “Container.”

This field represents the Port of Discharge — the port where the container will be unloaded.

This field indicates how the container was or will be delivered to the terminal:

  • Vessel – By sea

  • Train – By rail

  • Truck – By road

  • Carrier Seal – Carrier’s seal

  • Shipper Seal – Shipper’s seal

  • Customs Seal – Customs seal

  • Vet Seal – Veterinary seal

This field represents the current container status:

  • Inbound – Container en route to the terminal

  • Yard – Container located within the terminal

  • Departed – Container has left the terminal

  • Advised – Incomplete pre-notification

  • EC/In – Container delivered to the terminal but not yet positioned in the yard

  • EC/Out – Container ready for dispatch (the carrier has arrived to pick up the container)

  • Loaded – Container loaded onto the next mode of transport

  • Retired – Container status after stripping/unpacking

This field shows dimensions for Out of Gauge (OOG) containers:

  • OH (cm) – Height of the element extending beyond the container’s top

  • OL-B (cm) – Length of the element extending beyond the container’s rear end

  • OL-F (cm) – Length of the element extending beyond the container’s front end

  • OW-L (cm) – Width of the element extending beyond the container’s left side

  • OW-R (cm) – Width of the element extending beyond the container’s right side
