On 31 August 2023, Baltic Hub Container Terminal Sp. z o.o. was awarded the Rzeczpospolita TSL Awards for its Rail Siding Optimisation Programme - Phase 2 Rail 2020.

The aim of the project was to equip RMG cranes with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to enable the safe handling of containers on the BHCT rail siding (eliminating people working between wagons) and to increase the capacity of the siding.

The award was received by Karol Moszyk, Operations Projects Implementation Manager and Łukasz Raszka, Operations Business Analyst responsible for the project implementation at BHCT.
