Charity is one of many elements of corporate social responsibility of DCT Gdańsk. Every year we support the charity project implemented by the Pomeranian Hospice for Children.
The “Hope Relay” is an all-day long marathon in which sports people from the Tri-City, representatives of companies and volunteers overcome their weaknesses for one purpose. They run 24 hours on stationary equipment in order to support the Pomeranian Hospice.
This year there was introduced the 24-hour swimming (in turns) in a pool with the artificial current.
On 1 April 2017 at 3.00 p.m. there started a 24-hour marathon. Sports people managed to run and swim 2 741 km.
DCT pays 1 zloty for each run and swum kilometre. The amount is given to the Pomeranian Hospice.
