Food trucks, attractions for children and a tour around the terminal – a recap of the "Marine end of Summer with Baltic Hub".Baltic Hub, the largest container terminal in the Baltic Sea, held an event for residents of the surrounding neighborhoods. "Marine end of Summer with the Baltic Hub" brought together many residents at the terminal. During the event, the winners of the recently awarded Busole grant were symbolically honored.

The event was held at the container terminal on Sunday, September 3.  It attracted a lot of people, especially families with children and Baltic Hub employees who live in nearby neighborhoods. The event was attended by about 1,000 people.

Participants had the opportunity to enjoy a number of free attractions, including inflatables for children, trampolines, Twister XXL and a variety of sports activities. Children participated in shell painting, learned how to make sailor's knots, played ship and wooden handicraft games. They could also get tattoos and colorful braids, as well as watch an ambulance show and see a first aid station, where teddy bear patching took place. There was also a fire truck for the little ones to get into, put a helmet on, press the firefighter's signal and take pictures.



The site also had food trucks serving delicious snacks. Moreover, there was also an opportunity to take pictures in the popular 360 photo booth and take part in contests with great prizes. In addition, participants could test the crane simulator, Alko goggles, or try VR goggles, where the task was to get out of a fire. Part of the event also included a bus tour of the terminal area, which was very popular. The event also featured a presentation of terminal equipment including rechstacker machines and an IMV terminal truck. There was also a spectacular surprise for participants, which was the crushing of a passenger car by a container from a crane.
