On 11 June, the Rafters' Day, organised by the Przeróbka District Council, was celebrated for the ninth time. On this occasion, a festival was held, aimed mainly at the youngest children. During the event, children had the opportunity to take part in sports and artistic activities, listen to a concert and cook various dishes. The festivities included a festival of colours and soap bubbles and a performance by the 'Qfer' puppet theatre, which was funded by DCT Gdańsk. Other partners of the event were local companies: Teatralia, Merkus, the Bezpiecznik Foundation and others.
On 25 June, in turn, the Rudniki District Council celebrated its 25th anniversary. Residents came to the square at the junction of Rzęsna and Gdański Kolejarz streets, where they could participate in, among other activities, in workshops with the Municipal Police. There was no lack of attractions aimed at children and young people: games, competitions, soap bubbles, face painting, an educational stand of the Gdańsk Waterworks. DCT was one of the sponsors of the event.
During the event, the Gdańsk Roads and Greenery Management displayed charts and films with animated visualisations, showing the concept for the renovation of the square where the festivities took place. The refurbishment of the space for the needs of the residents, combined with the development of greenery, will be created as part of the winning project from the Green Civic Budget.
