Cleaning up Stogi Beach – ZawijaMY z pomocą
2025-06-23

On June 23rd, another edition of the beach cleanup at Stogi in Gdańsk took place, organized as part of the long-standing “Projekt Bałtyk” (Baltic Project) initiated by Dziennik Bałtycki. As in previous years, our team actively participated in the initiative - this time through our employee volunteer program, “ZawijaMY z pomocą” (“We Roll In to Help”).

Along the stretch of Stogi Beach, from the terminal to entrance no. 26, our employees collected litter left behind by beachgoers. Despite the summer weather and vacation atmosphere, the scale of pollution once again highlighted how much still needs to be done in terms of ecological education and shared responsibility for public spaces.

We Act Because We Believe in Real Change

Participation in such initiatives is not only a form of team integration and community involvement, it also reflects our consistent commitment to environmental protection. We believe that every action, even the smallest, matters for nature and for fostering a sense of responsibility among employees, the local community, and future generations.

The most commonly collected waste items, unfortunately unchanged from previous years, were glass and plastic bottles, bottle caps, and cigarette butts. These items continue to pose the greatest threat to coastal flora and fauna.

Thank You for Your Involvement

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all participants, our employees, Gdańsk residents, and visiting beachgoers, for actively joining this initiative. Your presence and commitment are proof that together, we can effectively counteract environmental degradation.

Next Edition Coming in September

We are already looking forward to the autumn edition of the beach cleanup, which will take place in September. We hope the initiative will continue to grow, attracting even more participants in the months and years to come.

Together for a cleaner Baltic — because caring for the environment is a shared responsibility.
