Busle 3rd edition: St(ogi)ART Project
2025-06-27

We present the results of the project “St(ogi)ART - Biblio-, MURAL- and LAND-ART,” carried out by the Stogi Library (ul. Szpaki 1) as part of the third edition of the Busole District Grant, financed by Baltic Hub.

The project combined artistic, pro-ecological, and therapeutic activities, involving residents of the Stogi, Przeróbka, and Krakowiec-Górki Zachodnie districts. It included:

  • art therapy and bibliotherapy workshops,

  • land art classes using natural materials,

  • educational mural workshops,

joint creation of a mural by residents and students of the Academy of Fine Arts, which now adorns the library's façade.

The aim of the project was not only to create art, but also to strengthen mental health and social integration around the new library building. The library in Stogi has been actively established as a so-called “third place” – a social space between home and work, conducive to contact, cooperation, and development.

More than 120 direct participants benefited from the project, and its aesthetic and social impact covers approximately 30,000 residents of the districts covered by the initiative.

We are delighted that, as Baltic Hub, we were able to facilitate the implementation of this valuable project, which combines art, nature, and community.
