For the second time, Baltic Hub organised an outdoor event to celebrate the end of the summer holidays. The event, which took place on 1st of September from 12:00 to 15:00 at the terminal, attracted around 1600 people, mainly residents of the neighbouring districts.

Under the slogan “Next Door! The End of Summer Holidays with Baltic Hub”, participants moved to tropical Hawaii. The exotic atmosphere, colourful decorations and numerous free attractions provided an unforgettable experience for all visitors to the terminal. Among the entertainment available were inflatables, trampolines, a 360° photo booth and food trucks. Children could enjoy face painting and adults took part in tours of the terminal. The programme did not lack competitions with prizes. Baltic Hub places a strong emphasis on education, health promotion and building a culture of safety, which is why the open day also featured sports activities, demonstrations by the fire brigade, paramedics and areas with Baltic Hub equipment and physiotherapy.

During the event, there was a ceremony to present the “Busole” district grants. In this year's edition of the competition, the jury, consisting of representatives of Balitc Hub, Port of Gdańsk and Gdańsk City Hall, selected 7 organisations which received a total of PLN 250,000 to realise their projects. One of the winners was the Blitz Association, which prepared a unique dance performance for the participants to celebrate the end of summer holidays.

“Busole” is an initiative that is particularly close to my heart, as is any activity that supports our local community. At Baltic Hub we strive to be good neighbours and we are truly happy that the open day for local community is so popular said Charles Baker, CEO of Balitc Hub.

Hosting the open day is an expression of Baltic Hub's commitment to the local community. The company regularly organises events to integrate residents and employees and promote an active, healthy lifestyle.
