Baltic Hub donated furniture to Primary School No. 72 in Gdańsk. The items included desks, office armchairs, conference tables and chairs, office pedestals and bookshelves. The furniture was used to equip pupils‘ classrooms and teachers’ offices.
In total, the school from Stogi received 215 pieces of equipment, including two full sets of cabinet furniture.
– We are grateful to our neighbour, Baltic Hub terminal, for its support. Thanks to the donated furniture, we were able to improve the teaching conditions in our classrooms and the comfort of the teachers. This is an extremely encouraging example of cooperation for the benefit of the local community – said Mr Artur Jastrząb, headmaster of Primary School No. 72 named after the Defenders of Westerplatte in Gdańsk.
The donation of furniture is another form of support that Baltic Hub provides to local educational institutions. Primary School No. 72 became a beneficiary of the third edition of the “Busole” district grant for its “SoundMakers” project. Thanks to the grant, the school plans to set up a state-of-the-art multimedia and music laboratory in the near future.
Baltic Hub consistently supports the education and development of the local community by engaging in regional development activities. You can read more about these activities in the CSR tab.
