For many years, Baltic Hub has been actively supporting local communities by implementing social, environmental, educational, sports, and health-related projects. In May, we expanded our activities with a new form of engagement – employee volunteering under the slogan “ZawijaMy z pomocą”.
The program enables our employees to actively participate in non-profit initiatives for public institutions, non-governmental organizations, and local social initiatives, with a particular focus on the districts neighboring the terminal: Stogi, Przeróbka, and Krakowiec-Górki Zachodnie.
The first stage of the program was a visit by our volunteers to the Ostoja Social Welfare Home in Gdańsk's Stogi district. Early in the morning, the Baltic Hub team took part in activities that brought a lot of joy to the residents of the center:
we tidied up the garden and the area around the building,
we repainted the benches,
we planted flowers,
and, most importantly, we spent time together with the seniors in an atmosphere of warmth and attentiveness.
Employee volunteering is more than just helping; it is also an opportunity to build community, strengthen social responsibility, and share what is most valuable: time, attention, and kindness.
This is just the beginning of this form of activity, but it is the next stage of our ongoing mission: to be a responsible and committed partner to the local community.
