Green hearts are beating at the Baltic Hub: 2,000 trees planted in Górki Zachodnie
2024-03-25

On Monday, 25 March, Baltic Hub employees took part in a tree planting event in the Górki Zachodnie district. Together with the One More Tree Foundation and other partners, 2,000 new oak trees were planted, 900 of which were funded by the Baltic Hub.

The initiative, organised by the One More Tree Foundation in cooperation with the City of Gdańsk and the Gdańsk’s Roads and Greenery Authority, brought together around 70 employees from various companies in Pomerania, including the Baltic Hub team. Despite difficult weather conditions, wind, rain and hail, the volunteers involved successfully planted 2,000 trees.

The aim of the campaign was to increase the number of trees in the Gdańsk area, as well as to strengthen the urban ecosystem and promote biodiversity. The Baltic Hub not only actively joined the action through employee participation, but also donated 900 tree seedlings as a patron of the event.

Participating in such activities underlines our commitment to the environment and our engagement to be a responsible neighbour, promoting environmental values to both our employees and the community at largenoted Charles Baker, CEO of Baltic Hub.

The Baltic Hub Management Board would like to thank all employees and partners for their commitment and dedication to this important initiative.
