At the Baltic Hub, we create a friendly working atmosphere of mutual trust and respect.
We provide employees with opportunities for development and conditions conducive to health and safety.
We do all this based on business requirements, employee expectations and in line with the latest trends in human resources management.
Our goal is, simply put, employees who derive satisfaction from their work and have a direct stake in the success of the company.
Work-life balance is a major factor at the heart of life satisfaction in the broadest sense, which is why we place great emphasis on it. We know that an employee who is well-rested and satisfied with his or her work situation is a more committed and willing employee, as well as a creative and imaginative one.
By providing, for example, more breaks than are stipulated by labour law, we ensure that rested employees do not make mistakes and that the level of job security is high, particularly for employees working in the equivalent system.
Employees working in the equivalent system successfully study at weekends - our planners try to arrange the schedule to allow for this.
In turn, by giving those working the basic working time system the opportunity for flexible start times, we eliminate the stress of morning duties and lateness. We allow remote working (3 days from the office, 2 days from home).
Employees whose shift falls on Christmas receive a special allowance.
Employees who have made spectacular achievements are awarded prizes.
Employees who have demonstrated a proactive attitude in spreading the safety culture are awarded safe worker of the quarter titles and prizes.
An individual raise is awarded when an employee is promoted or key.
A monthly/half-yearly bonus is awarded on a regular basis.
Interested parties have the opportunity to work regular and seamless overtime.
All employees are covered by Medicover medical care.
Fuel card - employees earn additional funds on an Endenred prepaid card every month. The money collected can be spent anywhere with a payment terminal.
Our employees have the opportunity to buy special life and health insurance on much more favourable terms than individually.
We celebrate more than just successes, which is why our employees, every year, receive a Christmas prize on the occasion of Christmas.
Multisport card - employees have the opportunity to obtain a Multisport card.
Every employee can count on a gift for his or her birthday. In addition, we celebrate popular holidays such as Women's and Men's Day, but also less popular holidays such as Ice Cream Day, Fat Thursday or Earth Day. Our HR and Communications team organises many competitions with attractive prizes to be won (vouchers to restaurants, Decathlon, extra funds for integration and others).
We conduct employee appraisals on a regular basis.
We make sure that the employee always receives feedback on the quality of his or her work and has the opportunity to engage in dialogue with his or her manager.
At the Baltic Hub, employee appraisal is tailored to the position.
We also take on unskilled employees. We recognise that terminal knowledge is difficult to acquire. For us the most important thing is your personality and commitment, we will teach you the rest.
All new starters in Operations and Technical start with a training course that lasts from 2 weeks to as long as 3 months, depending on the position. This is the time during which they learn about procedures, policies, equipment and everything they need to do their job independently.
We aim for each employee to complete a minimum of 16 training hours in a given year. Training topics are individually tailored to the position and tasks performed.
We place great emphasis on internal communication.
We respect each other and consider the opinion of every employee, regardless of their position.
We create a friendly atmosphere within our organisation and address each other by name. Every voice is important to us.
Every year we organize team-building events. One is a family picnic, where we can meet in a wider group and show our loved ones the work from the inside. The other event is a closed meeting for the employees themselves.
During the festive period, the children of employees receive gifts in the form of vouchers.
On Children's Day, a gift is prepared for every child of our employees.
At Baltic Hub, we understand that each of us may find ourselves in a fortuitous situation that we could not have foreseen, which is why we have set aside company funds to help those most in need.
When our employees need help, we organize collections and charity events, often initiated by our colleagues themselves.
We have more than 1,000 children at the Baltic Hub.
Very often both parents work at Baltic Hub, and for us to entrust the safety of the family to a company is the highest level of trust. The infrastructure in our buildings is so friendly and adapted that, if only our mothers-to-be feel up to it, they can be active almost until the end of their pregnancy. On the other hand, for mums returning after maternity leave, we offer a guarantee of employment and time to re-establish themselves and familiarise themselves with the changes and to choose the right job size.
