Temporary restriction on the length of railcar trains
2026-04-30

Dear Sir or Madam,

Due to the ongoing installation of additional cranes on the railway siding at BHCT, we are implementing a temporary restriction on the length of railcar trains, i.e., to a maximum of 694 m.

There are no physical infrastructure obstacles on the railway siding tracks; however, due to the limited range of movement of the railway cranes, shortening the permissible length of handled trains is necessary to ensure the safe and continuous execution of transshipment operations. The above restrictions will be in effect starting Monday, May 4, 2026, at 6:00 a.m. until further notice, initially until mid-August 2026.

We will keep you informed of any changes, including a possible shortening or lifting of the current restrictions, in separate correspondence.

At the same time, please inform shunting operators of the need to follow the instructions of the Railway Operations Shift Leader and the Switchman, as well as to exercise extreme caution when performing shunting operations on our siding.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
