This year's Baltic Hub safety festival took place on 30th August and, as every year, attracted a large group of employees who had fun together with their families, reinforcing responsible attitudes. Colorful shows, family workshops, and a concert by CLEO made the topic of safety particularly attractive.
Safety is one of Baltic Hub's key values. Safety Fest, an annual safety celebration organized for terminal employees and their families, is the best expression of this. This year's event brought together several hundred participants, who had the opportunity to refresh their knowledge of safety rules while having fun and socializing together.
The program included, among other things, first aid training and demonstrations, as well as a spectacular live evacuation drill. There were also additional attractions: exotic African drum and samba shows, contests with prizes, and chemical experiments. The atmosphere was enhanced by a concert by CLEO, the musical highlight of Saturday's program.
During the event, Baltic Hub CEO Jan Van Mossevelde also spoke, emphasizing the importance of building a culture of safety within the company. Safety Fest is an expression of Baltic Hub's consistent policy in the area of safety. For years, the terminal has been promoting safe attitudes not only through such events, but also through the “Safe Employee of the Quarter” program, which recognizes individuals who are particularly committed to a culture of safety.
Thanks to the commitment of the entire Baltic Hub team, it creates an environment where safety is a real value – present both at work and in everyday life.
