New PLS Ocean Network Express service at Baltic Hub

At the end of August, Baltic Hub welcomed the first ship as part of the new PLS (Poland Shuttle) service operated by Ocean Network Express (ONE). The launch of this connection is another important step in developing the network of connections with key ports in Western Europe and strengthening Gdańsk's position as a strategic maritime hub in the region.

The PLS service covers the route: Hamburg → Rotterdam → Gdynia → Gdansk → Hamburg, and its feeder vessels with a capacity of approximately 1,100 TEU will operate regular weekly connections.

The new service complements existing connections, offering ONE customers and the entire Central and Eastern European region greater flexibility and opportunities in transport planning. Regular calls at Gdańsk contribute to the stabilization of supply chains and increase operational predictability for business partners.

We would like to thank the ONE team for their trust. We believe that the PLS service will become an important element in the further development of the shipping offer at our terminal.

The new PLS service is not only an opportunity to strengthen the position of Polish ports in Europe, but also brings real benefits to customers in the form of greater availability of connections and greater logistical flexibility.
