On October 27, the Logistics Business Days event was held, bringing together representatives of the TSL industry, port operators, and market experts. The meeting was initiated by the Port of Gdansk.
Debate on the directions of port infrastructure development
One of the items on the agenda was a debate entitled “Terminal infrastructure and logistics facilities of the Port of Gdansk – new opportunities for the TSL sector.” The discussion focused on three key areas:
Terminal and infrastructure investments – expansion and modernization of the port to increase its capacity.
Logistics and storage facilities – creation of modern spaces to support cargo handling.
Cooperation between the private and public sectors – integration of the activities of operators, the Port Authority, and public administration to streamline processes.
Baltic Hub on the role of investment and dialogue
Baltic Hub was represented by Monika Bielecka, Sales Manager for Shipping Lines, who emphasized the importance of consistent investment in terminal development. In her speech, she drew attention to:
increasing capacity and modernizing infrastructure,
expansion of the railway offer,
the need for close dialogue between operators, the Port Authority, and public administration, which is crucial for the effective development of the entire sector.
As Monika pointed out, only cooperation and long-term planning will allow us to meet the growing demands of the market and maintain the competitiveness of Polish ports on an international scale.
Why is this event important?
Logistics Business Days is not only an opportunity to exchange experiences, but also a platform for building partnerships and jointly defining the directions of development for the TSL industry. In the face of dynamic changes in global trade and the growing role of intermodal transport, such discussions are the foundation of modern logistics.
We would like to thank the organizers for the opportunity to participate in an inspiring discussion about the future of Polish logistics.
