Baltic Hub, a leading Polish container terminal operator and member of the PSA Group, announces that Jan Van Mossevelde will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective January 1, 2025. Van Mossevelde, a seasoned industry professional, is currently the CEO of PSA Halifax in Canada and brings over 38 years of experience in the ports and logistics sector to his new position.
He has held senior commercial, operational, and general management roles within PSA’s business units in Belgium, Italy, and Canada. As CEO of Baltic Hub, Van Mossevelde will build on the terminal’s strong foundations to drive its continued growth and development.
Charles Baker, the current CEO of Baltic Hub, will transition to a new role as PSA’s Head of Intermodal Europe, also effective January 1, 2025. In this position, he will lead the formulation and implementation of PSA’s intermodal strategy across Europe.
During his tenure as CEO of Baltic Hub, Baker has helped in securing major commercial successes, enhancing operational capabilities, and overseeing the development of the terminal’s new T3 facility. Once completed, T3 will increase Baltic Hub’s annual capacity from 3 million to 4.5 million TEUs, solidifying its position as one of the largest and most advanced terminals in Europe.
