At the end of November, Tokyo hosted the Japanese edition of Business Mixer, organized by the Port of Gdańsk. This unique event brought together representatives of the maritime industry from both Poland and Japan, creating a space for exchanging experiences, establishing business contacts, and discovering new opportunities for cooperation on the Asian market.
Baltic Hub was represented by: Jan van Mossevelde, CEO of Baltic Hub, Jacek Grabowski – Commercial Director, and Marcin Kamola – Senior Commercial Manager.
Japan is one of the most important centers of the global maritime economy. For Polish companies, it is a market with enormous potential, allowing for the development of advanced projects, access to modern technological solutions, and the building of lasting business relationships.
During the event, participants had the opportunity to take part in thematic panels, B2B sessions, and expert discussions. Baltic Hub used this opportunity not only to present its investment directions and terminal development strategy, but also to listen to the needs of its Japanese partners. These meetings enabled a deeper understanding of the Asian market, its requirements, and expectations for cooperation with Polish companies.
The Business Mixer in Tokyo is also proof of Poland's growing importance as a business partner in Asia. Joint discussions identified areas where Polish-Japanese cooperation can bring real benefits: from innovative solutions in logistics and transport, through port infrastructure development, to supply chain optimization.
The event in Japan was an important step in building long-term relations between ports and companies from both countries. For Baltic Hub, it was also an opportunity to strengthen its presence on the Asian market and to acquire partners for the implementation of further projects in the field of logistics and maritime transport.
We would like to thank the Port of Gdańsk for organizing the event and all participants for their inspiring discussions, openness, and willingness to cooperate. The first step taken in Tokyo opens up new business horizons and lays the foundation for the development of strategic Polish-Japanese initiatives.
