At the beginning of October 2025, we participated in the event “Intermodal – modern logistics, real advantage,” organized by Loconi Intermodal S.A. and the Łódź Special Economic Zone.

The meeting in Łódź brought together experts and leaders from the transport industry to discuss the role of intermodal transport in building modern, sustainable, and efficient supply chains.

During the event:

• The benefits of intermodal logistics were discussed – both for business and the environment.

• Innovative solutions such as Reefer on Rail, which supports refrigerated supply chains, were presented.

• Examples of effective cooperation between operators and regions were presented.

In the expert debate “Intermodal as a language of mutual benefits,” Baltic Hub was represented by Marcin Kamola, who shared the perspective of a strategic maritime terminal serving the Central European region.

In his speech, he emphasized the importance of integrating sea and land transport in building effective supply chains and the growing role of port terminals in the development of intermodal logistics in Poland.

We would like to thank the organizers for the invitation, the inspiring discussion, and the opportunity to exchange experiences. We believe that cooperation and the development of intermodal transport are a real advantage for Polish logistics and the entire region.
