Update to the cooperation regulations – gate operations
2026-06-09

Dear Sir or Madam,

We would like to inform you that a new version of the cooperation regulations regarding gate operations has been published.

As part of this update, some of the provisions from section 5.3.2 General rules for external vehicle drivers (containers) have been moved to section 5.3 General rules and standardised to cover all drivers using the terminal – whether carrying out warehouse or container operations.

Key changes

The regulations now include rules regarding the temporary closure of road gates depending on forecast weather conditions.

The terminal continuously monitors weather forecasts, and decisions regarding the temporary closure of gates are made with the safety of all persons on the Baltic Hub premises in mind.

Information regarding gate closures, together with a graphic showing the forecast weather conditions, is published each time on the website www.baltichub.com and in the e.Brama system.

Road gates may be closed in the event of the following forecasts:

  • wind gusts exceeding 44 km/h – in relation to the handling of empty containers,

  • wind gusts exceeding 72 km/h – in relation to all users moving within the Baltic Hub site,

  • heavy snowfall, icy surfaces and containers, and black ice,

  • fog reducing visibility to less than 100 m.

We encourage you to read the full text of the updated regulations [LINK].
